The firm has two
primary areas of representation: civil litigation and general
business law. Civil litigation
involves a broad spectrum of disputes. S. Gary
Werley's particular experience spans a range of
situations, industries and relationships between individuals and
businesses. He handles all types and stages of litigation,
including trial work and appeals in both state and federal
courts as well as arbitrations. In addition, he will use all
available means to resolve cases prior to trial, especially
negotiation between the lawyers/parties and voluntary or
court-ordered mediation. Often, alternative dispute
resolution methods result in lower overall costs as well as a
solution more acceptable to the client. Settlement is an
option that is made available by getting a case ready for trial and
always being willing to take the case to
trial. He
has considerable experience handling civil trials in many areas,
particularly: Medial Malpractice
